I am an integrative and client-centred therapist committed to providing a safe, non-judgmental, supportive space where individuals can explore challenges and work towards meaningful change. My approach is tailored to each client’s unique needs, drawing on evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. I specialise in trauma-informed care, helping clients process and heal from difficult life experiences.
With over a decade of experience, I have worked extensively with working in domestic violence settings, supporting Clients in navigating complex relational dynamics and fostering healthier behaviours. I also have significant experience working with young people (ages 8-24), helping them with anxiety, self-esteem, family difficulties, and stress management. My work in social inclusion advocacy ensures that marginalised groups, including asylum seekers, refugees, and Traveller communities, have equitable access to support.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Social Care, a Master’s in Social Policy, and a Level 9 Certificate in Sexual Health and Consent. I am currently completing a Master’s in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. My Level 8 Certification in Child and Family Law and additional training in Understanding Traumatised Children’s Behaviour further enhance my ability to support diverse client needs.
I am an APCP student-accredited and awaiting BACP accreditation. I work with clients aged 8 and upwards and provide therapy in English and Maltese.
I believe that therapy should be collaborative, empowering, and client-led. Our first session explores your concerns, background, and goals to develop a personalised therapeutic plan. Each session offers a structured yet flexible space for self-exploration, emotional processing, and skill-building, helping you move towards meaningful change.
I believe mental health challenges are a natural part of life, and seeking therapy is a proactive step towards self-awareness and growth. My own experience with therapy has deepened my empathy and understanding, allowing me to support clients with authenticity and compassion.
Outside work, I find balance through nature, continuous learning, and meaningful connections with family and friends. These personal passions help me maintain well-being and professional effectiveness, ensuring that I bring energy, commitment, and insight into every session.
If you are looking for a supportive, experienced, and results-focused therapist, I welcome you to reach out and begin your journey toward positive change.
