Brian is a pre-accredited psychotherapist with the IACP, specialising in an integrative approach that combines Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. His focus is on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions, develop self-awareness, and build resilience.
His therapeutic style is collaborative and client-led, ensuring that each session is tailored to the client’s unique needs. CBT helps clients challenge negative thought patterns, Person-Centered Therapy fosters self-acceptance and empowerment, and Mindfulness supports emotional regulation and grounding. Whether working with anxiety, depression, trauma, or stress management, Brian helps clients develop practical tools for lasting change.
Brian has extensive experience working in addiction recovery, domestic abuse support, and mental health services, both online and in-person. His work in residential addiction treatment, domestic violence services, and online mental health platforms has given him deep insight into the complexities of trauma, anxiety, depression, and stress-related challenges. Through supporting individuals facing a range of mental health difficulties, he has developed the skills to adapt his approach to each client’s unique needs, ensuring they receive the right level of support and intervention. This experience equips him to work with anyone struggling with mental health issues, offering a compassionate, practical, and tailored approach to therapy.
Brian holds a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy and is currently pursuing a Diploma in Adolescent Psychotherapy to expand his expertise in working with teenagers and early intervention. He believes that addressing mental health challenges early can make a significant difference in a young person’s emotional development and future well-being.
